Tivaevae Patterns

This is my Tivaevae Mat. 

I used two pieces of coloured sheets paper, a pencil, and a pair                                                                                                                                               

of scissors.

I am pleased with my Tivaevae Mat because it shows symmetry, rotation, and reflection.

I am not pleased with my Tivaevae Mat because some of my patterns are not the same size.

I found this task challenging because I had problems cutting out shapes which were not on the edge. Cutting out shapes from the middle was hard.  

I made my Tivaevae mat by making a square. Then I folded my paper, and drew the patterns. After this I cut out my patterns to make a Tivaevae mat.
