My Swimming recount

When we were going to enter the bus we walked in lines. Once we got near the bus Miss Paton counted the number of students going to swimming. When I got on the bus I sat down with Dwight at the very back of the bus. When we entered the Dean Greenwood swimming pool the chlorine of the pool was too much. I wanted to run to the changing room straight away because it was too strong and I was feeling cold.  I was so excited to get in the water because after I got changed the seats at the pool were freezing. The water was heated so I would not get cold anymore. Swimming was a lot of fun because I was with my friends in the pool. (I was very excited when we leaned against the wall). When we got in it was a little bit cold but when I put my head underwater it got warmer. The teacher at the pool asked us the rules before we went swimming, to ensure everyone was safe. The first thing that we did was practising floating on our back and front for five to ten seconds.  Afterwards we practised swimming forwards and backwards to each end of the pool, (without touching the ground). My favourite part about swimming was when we had to swim end to end without touching the ground. It was a great practise because it taught me that if I'm in deep water I will know how to get to shore. It was very sad because we had to let Room 5 to get in the pool. So we sadly left the pool and got changed. Once we got changed I was happy again because I could go back to school and learn more. We walked to the bus and set off, I sat down with my friend Dwight again. It was a very bumpy ride back to school. When we arrived back at school we started back into learning mode…

Conclusion
I loved Swimming. Even when I first touched the water with Just a tiny little dip with my toe I was ready to jump in and learn. I felt like I was a fish when my whole body was underwater. It was very fun and exciting.
